This policy explains how Maze Creative (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit mazecreative.com.au, get in touch with us or use our services. We take your privacy seriously and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

Maze Creative is a digital agency based at 7/16 Panama St, Canning Vale WA 6155. We build websites, run search engine optimisation (SEO), manage Google and Meta advertising and design brands for Australian businesses. What we collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you deal with us.

Your name, email address and phone number
Your business name and website address
What you would like help with, and any notes or messages you choose to send

How you use the site, such as the pages you view, how long you stay and the link you came from

When we work with you

Business and contact details, billing details and records of what we have agreed and delivered
Access details for your accounts, which you share with us so we can do the work

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health or financial account details) through our website forms, and we ask you not to send it.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you fill in a form, email us, call us or meet us over video. We also collect some information automatically when you visit our website, through our hosting provider and the analytics and advertising tools described below.

We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked for them or we are otherwise allowed to under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing message will include a way to unsubscribe.

Cloudflare, which hosts and secures this website
Resend, which delivers the emails sent from our website forms to us
Our email and productivity providers
Google and Meta, through the analytics and advertising tools above
Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, when we need their advice
Government and law enforcement bodies, when the law requires it

Overseas disclosure

Some of these providers handle information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate data centres. By using our site and sending us your details you understand this may happen. We choose reputable providers and expect them to protect your information.

Security and how long we keep it

We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards, including secure hosting, encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited access and strong passwords. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep your details for as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When we no longer need them, we delete or de-identify them.

Your rights and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless we need to keep it by law.
